That was the year that was!
2009 was a big year at Seattle Circle. Details here...
- Tuning the Air performed 32 shows at Fremont Abbey Arts Center, moving upstairs to the incredible “Great Hall” for the Fall Season.
- Seattle Circle hosted 2 Guitar Craft courses here in the Seattle vicinity; a Beginner’s and Intermediate course in June, and an Orchestra of Crafty Guitarists retreat in October.
- We hosted a performance in October of Robert Fripp and the Orchestra of Crafty Guitarists at Fremont Abbey, featuring 40 guitarists and an audience of over 150.
- The Tuning the Air company performed at a benefit concert for Yoga Behind Bars.
- Seattle Circle presented 10 “Tuning the Air Open Circles”, giving anyone, regardless of experience, the opportunity to sit in a guitar circle and taste what it is like to play and perform in this format.
We are looking forward to an even more exciting 2010. Details of the Tuning the Air Spring Season, opening April 8, once again in the Great Hall, will be posted soon. The Monthly Open Circle series continues, beginning January 9. And more. Stay tuned.
